Our 2016 Watchword for the Ephraim Moravian Church is “The Lord your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands.”  Deuteronomy 30:9  Personal watchwords are still available to choose at the back of the church!
Interfaith Thanksgiving Service – We will be participating in an interfaith
Thanksgiving Service at The Gathering Room at Scandia Village’s Meadows on
Wednesday, November 23, at 7 p.m.  It will be an inspiring service of thanks for
our lives and all that God has given to us.  The offering will be “cash or cans” – the
cash will go to the Northern Door Child Care Center, and the food will be
distributed among the three Northern Door food pantries.  All are welcome!
Our Christmas Eve candlelight service will be at 5 p.m.  Come early for a good seat!  The children will be singing “Morning Star,” each participant will get a candle to light and hold aloft while singing “Silent Night.”  It’s a beautiful service, and all are welcome.
Christmas falls on a Sunday, so we will meet at 10 a.m. for Lessons & Carols.  Everyone wear their favorite Christmas sweater and bring a sweet treat to share at Fellowship after the service!
There will be no Watchnight Service on New Year’s Eve, since January 1 is a Sunday and we will meet at 10 a.m. to worship.  Come and pick your Watchword for 2017.
